FINAL CANDIDATES NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Wet’suwet’en First Nation will hold an Election on May 30, 2025, in accordance with the Wet’suwet’en First Nation Custom Election Code (2017), for the purpose of electing two (2) Councillors for the ensuing term of office. The position for Chief has been filled by acclamation.

Welcome to Wet’suwet’en First Nation

Wet’suwet’en First Nation is located just outside of Burns Lake, British Columbia and is the keeper of our traditional territories. Formerly known as Broman Lake Indian Band, we are a small, but proud, community that speak the Wet’suwet’en dialect of Babine-Witsuwit’en, a Northern Athabaskan language.
